Floral inspiration led Manav Ganwani to curate and design  a collection of ball gowns and evening wear that was both feminine and elegant.

Le’amoureuse featured a series of gowns that spelt romance and old world charm. The collection was dreamy and girlie but also expressed contemporary style. The designer however retained his trademark look of bold and risqué creations that portrayed inner passions and desires.  Actress Kangana Ranaut was the belle of the ball as she closed the show dressed in a purple gown. The designer states, “In my opinion, fashion is all about sensuality, how a woman feels on the inside. Fashion to her, is an expression of Individuality.  Clothes certainly have a profound effect on a woman’s persona, which, I believe, does make the woman. My Collections tell a story and that’s how I want my clothing to be.” We feature a few styles that caught our fancy.

1.  Colourful creations were a welcome departure from the somewhat somber tones that had been dominating the runway so far. Bright orange. Bright orange, rich purple and metallic tones made a statement.

2. Tiered dresses in metallic hues like gunmetal grey are reminiscent of days gone by

3. Opulent fabrics helped dramatise as sheer tulle, sequin georgettes organza to sheer French laces were combined

4. The men’s collection featured sharp jackets and jodhpurs in bright hues.
