The collection named “Oya” looks towards change and transition – a trait that Dolly J truly embraced this season. The fiery change is represented in all of her new fall ensembles – from the chunky necklaces in stained glass to the palazzo pants worn lovingly over kurtas.CM4_8113 The collection was all about finding balance in softness and structure as playful chiffons play around with tough brocade, as the bravado of velvet wraps itself over the sheerness of net. The purity of the collection shines through in the violet and white ombre lehenga paired with an embellished halter blouse – that ensemble had us at hello.

The collection worked with nets, velvets, chiffon and brocade along with fine zardozi and gold embroidery. Extra points for the feather and stained glass jewellery that accompanied the outfits. The colour palette went from violet, black, brown to red, white and ivory.
